Entirely fashioned by the hand of man, the Dézaley vineyard bears witness to a wine tradition of more than 800 years. It was in 1141 that the Bishop of Lausanne, convinced of the potential of this terroir, offered these lands to the Cistercian monks who would transform these wastelands into a vineyard and an exceptional landscape at the cost of a colossal amout of labour.
